Refunding Clothes

Not sure which section this goes in but....
So I ordered clothes online and they had tracking on it. I woke up in the morning and the tracking had said it had been delivered, I go down stairs to check the front door it's at the door.
And apparently they got a signature from me/one of my family members without us actually signing.
So I tried to refund/replace it with saying I haven't received it or signed for anything. (WHICH IS TRUE I KID YOU NOT THIS GUY HAS PUT THE PACKAGE AT MY DOOR ANYONE TO TAKE).
And now they've put it in investigation and I'm kinda scared.
So what would you do in this situation?

You'll be fine. They don't have an actual signature from you when the carrier said you signed for it. Thus making the carrier look sketchy and not you. Just go with the story and you'll get your refund.
What clothing company was this btw?

Not too sure about Australia but it seems like common sense. The carrier lied about getting a signature on delivery but there isn't a signature? So if you were the seller, who would you believe? =p

Yeah hopefully all goes well.
But yeah like if they look at my previous signatures it looks nothing like it.

Investigations aren't too serious. I had Nike investigate once. Just stick to your story and they'll find nothing.

@Adrian Yus dude the dude actually came to my door whilst I was at work.
But it's literally stupid he signed for it and left it at my door. Anybody could of taken it
