is there ever a hack that is not injector needed?

Did you mean Loader ? Or Trainer ? If trainer Its no longer work both Global and SEA .

Loader are still working so trainer , just that we release .dll bcoz it's easy

Yeah there's hacks like that but most people here prefer to make .dll ones since I believe they're easier to create. Every now and then you may see a .exe one.
