Black Friday
Anyone here being called in to work on black friday?
I'm in the UK, work at a major technology retailer. It won't be as bad here as it is in the USA but I'm on a 15 hour shift with a 30 min break.

I can't fucking wait.

I don't have to work Black Friday and I'm so glad. My employer would give me pay times two but I ain't fuckin with that.

Oh yeh, we don't get any extra pay.
I mean, we work more hours, but no additional pay.

at my job if i work i get payed 1.5 more but doubt it will be that busy , i hope not

Not really going to be busy. Also we don't get holiday pay or anything like that.

Any tips on what kind of things are going to be getting the biggest discount? electronics? what type, etc, thanks.

TV's mostly below 50", Gaming consoles (depends on store), White goods (dishwashers etc) small discounts, headphones (a lot of them) discounted by up to 45%
I can't really say where I work but if you think about what Technology retailer in the U.K. sells all of the above you'll figure it out quickly. It's not maplins by the way.
