Best Beginner Language

I have always wanted to code and a while ago attempted lua whichever failed ultimately so I decided to stop for a while from coding but after watching Mr****bot xD It somehow revived my interest of coding.But I'm wondering where to start and which language.Many say C++ is great for noobs but I'm looking to see what you all say...

i started with python and HTML5 (includes JS,CSS) although its not that much programming C++ and JS are very similliar after learning JS which is not that hard C++ wasnt a big deal

id suggest u start with JS there are alot of tutorials online

Heh I'm doing a tut on python rn but haven't started.I don't like the word Java for some reason everytimw I open my PC theres a java update x_x

Python is an easy one to get started in, and to learn programming fundamentals. Once you have one language down, it's relatively easy to pivot to a new language, since its all the same thought process, just different syntax generally.

Back when I started learning python a few years ago "learn python the hard way" was a good free PDF to get started. I've also heard good things about "automate the boring things with python".

well,i had learned web development (HTML,CSS,JS) before some years.And now i am learning Java,C++ at university and i found it very easy.
The only thing is to understand how programming language "work". If you learn 1 language then the others will be easier to learn couse you will know the method.

C++ is not that easy of a language. I would start with Python and web languages because they are the easiest. Then maybe move on to Java or somehting around that area.

I think that's where I'm headed.

Start with C#. C# is good because it is not so hard to learn.

I renember those times when I've started programming with Visual Basic and I've wrote my Program ( Tidy Desktop ) with C#

frameworks rulez! now u dont need to use codes, for exmpl, u dont need to know html+css if u know how to handle *********)

Python and HTML. Python is very easy to learn and it's useful language. HTML is basic when you want to do sites.

I'm currently going the C++ route

Mr****bot used Python mostly. It all depends what you want to do:
Websites (html,css,js,php)
Cheats (c++/c#)
Automation/scripts/webscrapers (python)
Android development (Java)
IOS (probably Swift but not sure)

I would recommend c++, most famous and if you understand it, you will be able to learn other languages fast
