Can't imagine many servers giving you world edit permissions, of any kind.

Nevertheless, thanks for the release.

I thought maybe the command is just given to everyone be default (no permission). Did a quick google search and found you have to give the group the worldedit.calc permission. So don't think this will work on any good/well developed servers.

The server has to be downright stupid to give any WE permissions to regular players.

Some creative servers do give donators worldedit. However, the world edit is limited, meaning you can only spawn in a limited amount of blocks. As well as, its not done instantly. the blocks removed/placed with world edit is done 1-20 blocks at a time, rather than all at once. So it doesn't really harm the server.

Yeah, but not many people are going to donate to a server just to crash it. Even if you are going to charge it back, it's not really worth it. Most servers will just revoke the rights if you start abusing them.

No, I'm just saying some servers do give out world edit permissions. Though I highly doubt it'd be this permission anyway

My original point was that they won't give we to regular players, but yeah I agree with you, even if they give we permissions it won't be this one.

I just crashed the big Romania Minecraft Server (4k players), and some PL servers with 1k players. Its patched in some servers, cuz yea.

I'm just trying to understand why a server would add that permission into regular player groups.

old worldedit versions had no permission for //calc, so you could crash any server.
