Packing A .EXE?

Ok so i was wondering if you guys knew any other software packing products besides oreans. I would use their packing product but when they pack it it shows up as false positives on the virus scan, thus resulting in my inablity to release it. Is their any better .exe packing programs?Especially ones that dont show up on a virus scan? Thank you in advance. Edit BTW if you have no idea what im talking about im basically asking is there anyway to protect my work from being stolen.

The reason why they are detected as False positives is because virusscans can't read what the program does, so they see it as a virus.

So, No you can't protect your work by using packers
(You can but you'll have false positives)

What is oreans?

Oreans is the creator of Themida

Themida is a packing program

a packing program protects your program from reverse engineering

reverse engineering shows things like the source code of your program

How do you even get Themida... I can't find a cracked version.

As for other packers, I don't believe there are any other that Themida.

First off there detected as virus or false positives because people used them to pack virus'. Try RlPack.

They aren't used to pack viruses. While i'm sure some people use them maliciously like that, their main intent is to prevent someone from cracking the program someone makes.

As far as one that won't trigger a false positive? No clue. Because as someone else said they AV scanners don't really know how to handle it, so it triggers a false positive.

ALSO! There are other packers such as UPX, UPX however is commonly used to pack viruses.

Theres FSG. Which is also commonly used to pack malicious programs. If your program is a .net program try netz.

Oreans 2.1 has a free demo which i must say works nicely. Thanks guys but it looks like i cant pack my releases cuz no matter what i do the AV freaks out from the themidia

I have seen alot of programs released here packed with some sort of commercial protection. I'm pretty sure they would understand packing a program with themida. AV's even pick it up AS Themida.

Yeah, but it says: Protected with a trial version of Themida.

the demo version of themida works fine...... ide rather have mtyprograms protected from dissembles. its worth having the popup.
