UPS Investigation
I got a refund done from a refunder here around the beginning of March for a Macy's refund of an Apple Watch. Refund came through and everything was fine. Last week (a little more than a month later), UPS called me regarding my missing package (probably package never arrived method), and asked me some questions if I was having trouble receiving my packages, etc. I simply told them yes, I did have trouble getting my package, however Macy's gave me a refund already, so it's okay. They said thanks for my time, if I want any more information, contact Macy's, we'll be relaying them the details now (why would I care, I already got my refund...).

Yesterday, they came to my door asking if I got my watch or not, sign if I did, don't sign if I didn't. Obviously I didn't sign and they left.

Do you guys think I can still refund to my address if I lay low for a couple of months or so? Or will they be watching me from now on? I was thinking of refunding from Apple but that might be a little tough now...
Just do some legit orders to your address before doing any other refunds.

^Agreed.

Also if you're going to continue refunding, possibly check if FedEx, USPS will deliver? (Delivering service other than UPS)
^That, but you'd be safer using a friend's addy or something

Place some legit orders. Apple is a different method and shouldn't place blame on the carrier (they also typically ship Fedex). UPS probably has you on their radar, so be careful. Once UPS contacts police authorities, it's gg.
^Whatever they said. It will help.
why don't you contact your refunder? he should be willing to help and an expert at it. Provided its not sean

Happened to me. except idk why they are contacting you a month later... I would have ignored the phone calls but that's in hindsight. You may want to cancel your card incase Macy's tries to recharge you. I wouldn't use your addy for like 3 months.

I know the method for Apple, and recently got a refund for my friend. Fedex came to his door ~4 times without giving up leaving adoor tag with a tracking number of an RMA number (Apple expecting a package back) Followed procedure, and they didn't come back again. Got the refund before they started coming though, which is strange. Apple never mentioned sending any package back though.

You should definitely lay low on UPS for now, they taken notice about you. There's a chance if that is your usual UPS guy that delivers, your gonna be signing for all your packages from now on.
I followed my refunder's instructions to handle the situation, though he said that he's never seen this before, where they would contact me again, and wasn't sure if it was okay to ignore the calls. He's never seen an investigation, and THEN coming to my door. Everything should be sorted out now though... I got the refund a month ago, which is strange.

I just wanted another view from you guys to see what I could do now. I really hope they won't charge me again, that would be tragic.

I'll try to get some legit orders in for now, and see what I can do later on.

I know its a claim cause it happened to me before. Also the guy had the magic sheet of paper. Their not gonna charge you again since they claimed UPS already. I stopped refunding anything that came from UPS for at least half a year. I can tell the UPS drivers know what we are doing, he gives me dirty looks and seems like he hates my guts.

get your card replaced as an extra precaution. Dont want them coming back again in 2 months hitting that cc.

Yeah, I don't think I'm not going to touch anything from UPS for a while. Too much risk for me.

What would I tell my bank for a new card, new card number, etc.? Honestly, it wouldn't be a huge issue if they charged me again, I sold the watch, so it would only be like $30 loss for that hassle.

Sometimes paying with PayPal on top of a new card is much better, and just tell your bank you need a new card as you lost yours, it works a charm, new 16 digit
