Cheaper Latam/RU Key?

Hi, ive been wanting this game for a very long time now and finally i can afford it but i can only afford the latam/RU key.
So im wondering if it works just like CSGO. You buy a key thats supposed to activated in another country where its cheaper.
So what you do is you activate it over a VPN, i know it works for CSGO but does it work for Battlegrounds too?

It's gonna work fine but you'll have to use VPN to play on it cause It'll be region restricted, but If you're interested I'm selling an account for 15$ region free.

So i will have to use a freaking VPN to play too? How do you know that? Because it says the exact same thing on CSGO but you can still play on all regions once activated.

Recently I had Squad gifted to me, It was locked on Hong Kong though, I managed to reedem it but I cannot play the game without VPN sadly.

If you can afford the game in your region, it will save you a lot of headache.
