i see alot of sites & places they offer unlock service for iphone network for x price... are they legit ? have anyone used such thing before ?

would appreciate some guidance

what they do is buy unlock code and simply unlock your iphone.

Pretty sure you can't for free if you are on a plan

It's definitely possible. There was a free tool for it a few years back, don't know if there still is one floating around.

Based on my local Facebook group, they said it died.

I sold my old phone and Purchased an unlock code for like $5 on ebay, shit actually worked
if you buy it on eBay its an EZ refund as selling digital items isn't even allowed

Get the ones on ebay, they're the cheapest.
