Lol, i've seen many of these damn mosquitos. Last night i saw a tarantula trying to hide in one of my shoes xD

Those aren't actually mosquitos, they're called crane flies.

How are they beneficial?

To keep it short, their larvae decompose environmentally disruptive materials into minerals that are used by other organisms.
