Lets talk about FiveM(GTAV) hacking
I have a few questions.

I there any security besides server sided on most RP FiveM servers? Like literally i could go in with cheat engine and edit everything?, i know stuff like money is server sided but i could use stuff like godmode etc with cheat engine?
I'm sure you could cheat on there but ur get banned very fast

Well, bans are handled server wise if you ask me.
Does FiveM work again?
Yes, FiveM has been reborn and is working again. Kicks and bans from servers are done with either in-game commands by whitelisted users, or through a program called IceCon. I run a server called Blue Line Law Enforcement and speak from firsthand experience with these things.

There's is absolutely no special security on FiveM servers.
You can safely edit the memory as you would in any other game.
However, to give yourself money, you have to gain access to the database or find an exploit directly in game that would trigger SQL requests.

The client scripts (.lua) are also downlaoded on the client side, this means you can have a look at the cache folder and searchfor files with a random string and ending with rpf (not with the RPF extension, but simply having 'rpf' as the end of the filename), you'll be able to read in plain text the content.
