Cicada 3301

Hey everyone,

I was lurking through the forums and realised theres barely any topics on Cicada 3301 which is strange due to how popular it is on the web.

I was wondering if anyone has ever tried to decipher Cicada 3301 or atleast attempt it?

There are no leaks on Cicada 3301 about what happens when you've completed it, although a lot of clues get leaked and that's literally it.

Cicada 3301 posted a new one for 2017 on April 4th, anyone gave it a go?

Heard of it. There's a video on YouTube of someone completing it too, but they let the member go for leaking it and he never did find out what truly Cicada 3301 was. There's a lot of theories behind such things, and travelling the world to find the locations of the QR codes seems pricey. I'd give it a go if I could, purely because it's a challenge of a lifetime.

That should give you insight.

Wouldn't attempt it myself but I've watched a video on it and it's really interesting.

With the average IQ on mpgh being 83 I see why there are no threads on trying to solve the puzzles.

Thing has become a load of crap for most. They keep releasing new puzzles because no one has solved the old ones. They were stuck on the 2015 or 2016 one for a while, I think.
