How are you seeing brown?
Looks gold to me.

I'm not a fan of obnoxious weapons, it's got a laid back look to it.
Unlike some of the gold mods I've seen, which are extremely over the top bright.

This one seems more realistic.
I don't like the L9 mod however.

Does look brown, but, at the same time, gold.
Just like you stated, it looks laid-back, not TOTALLY BRIGHT.

It's a dirty-ish gold color.
Anyways, CA modding is new and in it's early stages.
I expect major improvements here in the near future.

That's why I'm doing less-common weapons.

Plus, everyone already hates G36E and L96A1 mods, they're like herpes: everyone's got em.
