Or does the supplier determine the work required? Coca Cola requires you to make a coke in a factory to get a coke and Pepsi requires you to put up advertisement posters to get a pepsi.

thats exactly how it is today aswell, youre working for eg 10bucks an hour and a can of coke is 1buck, so youre spending 6minutes of your life for 1 can of coke

How little thought did you put into this before opening a thread when it comes to your question?

Now, depends really -- let's say if one work decides to pay more per hour with cans of coke, then it'd work, but then again depending on the position you are and how much is the cost per hour.

Sounds a lot like the movie In Time. Except you pay with your life without the having to work part.
