Worn brakes
My car has worn brakes. Need to be replaced pretty urgently actually.

What damage can be done if this happens too late?
You'll damage the brake rotors which is an even more costly repair.

1) Your brakes can fail
2) Longer you wait the more money it'll cost (brake system overheats=more damage)
3) Annoying noise whenever you brake

What car do you drive?

E220 limousine from 2005, I'll have to get it fixed this week. I drive approx. 100km every day, not safe I reckon.

Yeah lol not safe, if you need to hard brake when driving fast you're risking brake failure.
Other side, if you don't get it fixed asap, and it gets worse.. it'll even cost more.

So why not repair it ASAP (within a couple of days) to avoid the risk of it getting huge damage and you having to pay almost twice or even more the price you'd pay now.
don't wait till the caliper gets damaged because you can experience the problem at a late time that it could do random full brakes. happened to me on my motorcycle 3 days ago and it is destroyed and I'm not in the perfect condition rn
Worst damage? Death when you're going 100 towards that truck and your brakes don't do anything
