Most of the "new" features that are "being done for the first time" are actually things that have been done by multiple Android manufacturers for a while now.

Facial Recognition? S8 has that covered. It has its flaws but no nibba going to be walking around with a picture of you to get into your phone.
Full Screen Display? S8 has that covered.
Price? You can buy two S8s for the price of one iPhone X.
Wireless charging and OLED? Samsung has covered that long ago.
I am biased being a S8+ owner but the technology that Apple has "innovated" has been around and used by other manufacturers for a damn while. If anything, they are incorporating this technology into their iPhones, iPads/etc. to stay updated with the times.
Though, I do have to admit that the 7 Plus camera is a tad better than the Galaxy/Note line up but is it really worth the $200+
premium for it?

i think apple is better in that regard compared to android ( google)
