[Outdated] No grass(2-11-17)

No grass(2-11-17)

BE and server protection got updated and now old ini editions not working, but i find out new way in comments but didnt remember how was that

1. Go to windowsnoeditor folder
2. Open engine.ini
3. Paste
[/script/engine.renderersettings]
foliage.LODDistanceScaleGrass=0
4. Close and set "read only"
5. Profit!

Credits to some1 in comments in closed threads

The first thread related to "no grass" subject , the rest removed.

Over 15 threads created lol.

Same found this , Every time patched I find new console commands from here .

Two patches ago i was getting about 40+ more frames with no grass. Now, my fps is about the same without grass as when there is grass. Is this because the grass is still rendered but it just doesn't show?

Try an add this:

r.MipMapLODBias=15

basically that will lower your ground texture to make it look plastic xD

It's definitly working since last update (no grass only).

Had the same issue thanks, got my +30fps back, thanks mate. Lost x2 and x4 tho aha not worth it

I've heard people saying they found new lines to not render rock/foliage/tree aswell. Anyone to share those lines? Tried a bunch aswell with no results.

You press on .ini file right click>properties>Read-only(on the bottom) and apply
