The difference is in the magnification. It is possible that although the graphics for the sights were modified, the magnification was not changed along with the graphics, and that the client/server is magnifying it according to how it was originally (much like how the iTech's aiming +3% doesn't migrate to the modified ACOG scope). I'm not sure of the exact magnification difference between the L85 MOD scope versus the ACOG one, but until the numbers can be proved, this is the most logical explanation.

the game still knows you mounted the dot sight, so it doesnt zoom in any more.

i wasnt claiming you zoomed in any more...but the scope is better either way.

yep, the magnification is going to be the same on those weps, so u can't magnifi more in M16, but it's not server side as i know, it have something to be with the gun, don't know where or how, just test it go into a game and dc ur internet and try, u still can scope in/scope out, and switch guns.
