This is not something that is playable in my opinion, which is why I'm releasing it.
It has a lot of pro's, however the downsides of not knowing where trees are and where fences are is what keeps me from using it.

nice release. but do i just copy+paste into engine.ini and make sure read-only is applied. that sounds too easy lol

My settings:
foliage.LODDistanceScaleGrass=0
foliage.MaxTrianglesToRender=13000
foliage.CullAll=1
Haters will say it is unplayable but to be honest the first game I played with it I got 11 kills and won.... If you are driving vehicles stick to the road where there is no trees/rocks/walls.... And with these settings there is one wall of every house that is not rendered in so you can see inside easy but still see the whole building itself.

Negative... Its sad to break the news but I dont think we will ever see that again, there is only limited ini variables out there and chances are looking very slim to find a new method atm

EDIT: I suggest not dropping in big towns because it is reasonably hard to work around

Unless this has somehow changed, you can see trees and stuff close range, but you need a 4x or 8x to see them. Like with the last lot of edits, if you were within like 3 metres of a tree it would render in, but a long distance tree would only render with a 4x or 8x scope.
