Cheat Engine detection
So the biggest subject right now when it comes to cheating is many people saying CE is no longer working for WW2, creating some drama due to the fact we need DBVM.

I thought I'd start a discussion to see if any members can post helpful info of what they've tried or perhaps ideas they have. I'll post what I've tried so far. The strangest thing in testing various methods is that somehow WW2 still knows it's present even when loaded in Sandboxie, this is strange due to the fact Sandboxie isolates the CE instance so WW2 shouldn't even have the 'privilege' to see it running, this leads me to believe it's scanning file names or sigs for loaded files. Try not to give the devs too much credit, look at their previous methods for dealing with 'cheats', it mainly just involves basic string detection.

Tested / non-working methods:
Recompiled CE changing all strings associated with "Cheat Engine" and changed the names of the loaded files.
Run CE isolated using Sandboxie
Obfuscated the CE executable itself
Packed CE with files needed using vmProtect (runs CE and loaded files with virtualization).
Changed path for stored temporary files

Update -
Tried EnigmaProtect with entry point virtualization and full file virtualization including temporary files, still no luck. Haven't seen a pattern of read/loaded files and crashing either so far.

I am not even going to answer your question as it look like you dont even have the knowledge of pointers, etc to find xp value. Its not about searching your xp and then changing it to 999999....

Not trying to be rude but, if you need to ask you won't be able to do it even with written instructions. Values such as XP, prestige and stats are not a simple 10 second job. If it's something you really want to do then you'll need to learn all the basics and spend a few weeks practicing and learning, or just wait for someone to release a public tool.

If its not server sided (which i fucking assume, since they migrated to peer 2 peer now) this is a easy fucking job, stop acting like you are a pro reverse engineer here

I heard someone say something similar about IW. But after following a simple guide of no more than a couple of sentences, I was able to use Cheat Engine myself and didn't have to rely on other people to release tools.

the difference is Infinity Ward did a terrible job at xp as you could edit it client side and it would work. WWII isnt like that

Try modifying your prestige/level on Black Ops 3, let's see how easy it is.
Hint: You won't find it through manual scans.

Good luck, post back results please.
They use a similar system from BO3
CE, IDA, x64dbg.. they are trying to patch everything
btw I fixed IDA crash with enigma but, indeed still not working with CE

That's besides the point, I can use a handful of programs to read the memory but they all lack features such as browsing structures and being able to debug the game directly from the program and avoid detection such as DBVM. To put it in other terms you'll find it very difficult to find certain values such as XP, rank or prestige without debugging or going through the memory directly.

Yeah it's annoying but with BO3 it was an extremely easy bypass, all they did was search for strings in window titles, aka replace "Cheat Engine" with anything else and it works perfectly. This time round it seems they spent a little longer with their detection method. Luckily they didn't go to such extreme extents with debuggers as well!
i tried cosmos editor but it isn't able to find any values for some reason, it just goes on forever

I have no idea either, does the same thing for me and none of the offsets work. I don't know what program they use.
cosmos editor works, but is it safe to use online? and if i enable cheat engine dbvm am i able to use it online and not risk being banned in zombies? i changed the cheat engine string names and the program itself to avoid 1 detection method. but im testing everything on a cracked version of the game until i know its safe to try online
