Dying graphics card?
How can i tell if my graphics card is dying?

I played gta a week ago with no problem ran all the settings on high just fine but this week when i tried running gta it took me for ever to load in and i started getting spike lags everything around me took quite a while to load in.

Could this be my graphics card dying or other components?
well GTA is a loading simulator pretty much, so nothing out of ordinary there.

Maybe try re-installing drivers? Usually GPU dying symptoms are like weird artifacts on screen / missing textures, and crashes -- so I think your good but I could be wrong.

I had similar problems with my GPU.

I even sent a RMA request to PNY.

It turns out my Windows needed to be updated.

My windows won't update and i have windows 8.1
Try cleaning your PC. (dust in case, fans, gpu fans, cpu cooler, etc.)
Type in google. Program for testing GPU. ;d
^ That's called a GPU stress test
Test your GPU and you will know
When was the last time you cleaned out your com? Give that a shot
Yeah, actually cleaning your PC is a good idea.
Sometimes dust can slow down. Also try to check PSU
PC components don't really experience wear in that way unless it is optical (fans, HDDs, etc). Either it works fine, or something breaks.

You mentioned it happened within a few weeks, so it's probably not a cleaning issue. Probably something software-based.
