best os for gaming
okay i basically want to know what is the best os for gaming i can get any os so it dose not matter so please help what would be best like linux windows 7 vista windows 98 alienware red hat ex.

Windows 95 
Win XP. I use it to play, but i think what's important is still the Graphics Card.
i can run ava 100fps on all seting all the way up on windows vista 32 bit
Go for Windows Future. 
Or use Alienware. Best gaming pc on earth so far.

yeah but u cant run vent and some games on it
I haven't used linux for years but don't they have a major compatibility problem with games?
If you need DirectX 10 or SLI you may as well go for Windows7 ultimate 32bit, i'm currently using Win7 and loving it..
If anyone says "use vista" make sure you punch them in the back of the head
