if using the merge glitch, what's the least amount of Void Auras necessary to obtain the NSoD . Is it 800?
800 yes.

830 Void Aura is exactly what you need including the requirement of quest if you just start to farm for it.
Goodluck trying to get the merge glitch right. I sometimes failed doing it, kinda harsh for me.
Is there a guide for the order in which you acquire the items? It's pretty confusing.
Farm: 20 Chaorupted Hourglass, 2 (Necro) Scroll of Dark Arts
Merge: Time Lord's Necronomicon > Unenhanced Aura > Time Lord's Necronomicon > Energized Aura > Necrotic Sword's Aura
This is under the assumption, that you'll succesfully merg glitch 61 times.
notes:
Time Lord's Necronomicon only stacks to 1, hence why you need to farm it's resources twice, cause you use one in a quest.
Bones from the Void Realm dust also has a max stack of 50, but this simply means you have to merge glitch them 50 times first and another one after completing the quest.
I recommend starting with merge glitching Bones from the Void Realm. Cause you'll need to succesfully merge glitch this 51 times. And is the most forgiving if you fail (each fail will require you another 50 bone dust and void auras)
Every other merge glitch you'll fail will need you a hefty amount of extra resources. So practise first! The only thing you don't really need to glitch is the final NSoD weapon itself.

This is what I was looking for. Thanks for the information friend. I know no words enough to fully convey my gratitude. Thanks a ton.

I checked again. And confused a couple things. I edit my comment above. You shouldn't need as many Bones from the Void Realm as I first noted.
I might be wrong again, cause it has been a while since I done this myself. But in general you should simply merge everything. It goes like "Unenhanced" > "Energized" > "Necrotic Sword"
And the only thing I do remember was that I had to be mindful of the stack limit from Bones from the Void Realm and Time Lord's Necronomicon as I noted before.
