Ok. I listed out the specs in case that happens. Do you have any comments on the actual computer or no?
Can you afford to throw in a small ssd card (128gb)? It would make a huge difference.

I'm new to computer building. How would a SSD card make a difference to the performance of the computer?

It's just faster boot time, everything looks fine, but if ur buying at retail prices then just go buy a computer, it's cheaper(in some cases) and saves a lot of time. Unless u do like craiglist.
If you can get 1060 3gb

you can save 100 bucks by buying a windows key here

also get at least 2 sticks of ram to improve performance

do you really need a z370 board for overclocking?
if you wanna go budget cpu then look into a ryzen 3/5

and a ssd even if its just 120GB will help you a lot with windows performance
get an ssd for sure also as recommended above 2 sticks of ram so you can run dual channel would be very good
1: Windows key for 5-10$ (On MPGH or EBAY)
2: SSD can be better.. Even a 128gb for windows only is excellent
3: RAM preferably 16gb already, since games wont work well on 8GB already.
4: Consider upgrading the GPU soon
Thanks for the advice. I went with a 1x8, rather than a 2x4, just so I can buy one stick soon and easily have 16. Thanks for the tip about buying a key on here or eBay, that saved me a lot of money. And I'll look into SSD's on my next check.

I went with a slightly different build, but also kind of similar.

For the sake of more computer build talk, here is what I put together.

Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 1600 3.2Ghz 6 Core
Motherboard: MSI B350 Gaming Pro Micro ATX AM4
Video Card:Zotac GeForce GTX 1050Ti 4 GB
RAM: Crucial Ballistix Sport LT 1x8GB DDR4
Hard Drive: Seagate Barracuda 2 TB 7200 RPM 64 MB Cache
Power Supply:EVGA 600B 600W 80+ Bronze
Case: Rosewill NAUTILUS and a DVD Drive

I bought all of this for about $690.

I can't upgrade anything at the moment, since my next check will be going towards stuff like a Windows key, WiFi adapter, keyboard, monitor, desk, etc...

From there, I guess I'll wait until Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Christmas, etc... to upgrade the video card and RAM.

for most games this is actually incorrect

8GB are enough for most of todays games

if youre multitasking heavily then youd need 16GB but with 8GB youre fine

i hope you have 3000mhz or faster RAM, as this improves ryzen performance drastically

also why did you get a micro atx motherboard if you have a case that can fit a normal atx board?

also for the almost same amount you would have gotten a phanteks p400 which has prob better airflow and better looks

It's 2400mhz, how much of a difference do you think it will make? As for getting that motherboard, I was not sure how much room I needed. This is my first build, so honestly, it was a rookie mistake.

well for the RAM you will see an increase in games of 15-20% in most games if getting a 3200mhz kit

also depending if you already ordered you can get another mobo and case if you want to

i would recommend getting a full sized atx mobo as you have 4 ram slots so you can get 2x4gb for optimal performance now

thats a list i made with pieces id recommend, and its under your limit of 900$
it checks all the boxes i would recommend and also has some decent aestethic components so you can have a nice view aswell

Yup, so far, I ordered everything except for the processor and hard drive. I reached my daily spending limit on my debit card. I'll save the list you made for further upgrades in the future. For the current build I listed, how do you see it running? I'm looking to play GTA 5, Fortnite, Crossfire, and Battlefield. No PUBG, but a good variety of the typical games people play.
