How to get Legacy using HxD Editor 1.9.2

Follow all of the steps listed below!

Make sure you have EAC BYPASSED or you can get BANNED

HOW TO UNLOCK LEGACY IN HXD EDITOR

- Download HXD Editor

1. Go to Steam and right click 'Dead by Daylight' go to 'Properties'

2. Go to the 'Local Files' tab and click 'Browse local files'

3. Double-click the 'DeadbyDaylight' folder then double-click 'Paks'

4. You should see a file with this name 'DeadByDaylight-WindowsNoEditor.pak'

BEFORE WE DO ANYTHING WITH THIS FILE WE NEED TO MAKE A BACKUP OF IT JUST IN CASE WE MESS SOMETHING UP.

5. Copy the file and Paste it somewhere safe

6. Open HxD Editor

7. Go to the top left and click 'File' then click 'Open'

8. Go to where the 'DeadByDaylight-WindowsNoEditor.pak' file was located and select it

9. Now, if you're running WINDOWS press CTRL + R if you're running MAC press COMMAND + R

You should have a box that pops up that looks like this.

10. Now in the 'Search for' box type '2016-11-24' (without apostrophe's)

11. In the box right below that called 'Replace with' you want to put today's date (EXAMPLE: Today is 2018-02-25)

12. For the 'Search Direction' click ALL

13. Then click 'Replace all'. This might take a few minutes so just be patient.

15. Now you can close HxD Editor

14. Now open Dead by Daylight and you're done!

A good tutorial but i don't think many will use it cuz of the kicker (timer) and there is save editor

True, but for me it personally worked if you ever want to reset your EAC BYPASS just reset your host file. Pretty simple.

why use this when we can just edit our save file?

It's just another method you can use.

did you just change the date to 2016? you need to replace "2016-11-24" with today's date.

It literally says on the 2nd line : Make sure you have EAC BYPASSED or you can get BANNED.

Kicker is the time you have to ready up and the game starting otherwise EAC will kick you to the main screen.

Yes, every modify to the game files require eac to be bypassed

Sadly, yes, but this is just another method of getting legacy. If you don't want to do the EAC BYPASS for as long as you have legacy then use the saveeditor tutorial.

Just use Cloud Editor (JSON Data). Duuuuuuuuud
