Why don't the devs check progress?

Like the title says. Why exactly don't the devs check savefile progress? I know they don't, I've hacked my BP and my savefile loads of times, but everything is stored on their servers, right? So why don't they check? Is there some kind of limitation on their end?

They are just some sort of stupid devs... This game diserves too be hacked and they know the majority of people are hacking so if they are banning all of them the game will die... But the question is why they ban youtubers for no reason. They are just stupid)

Because it would cost them money to rent a server that keeps a log of the save files, and they would also need to spent money on developing a program that checks the logs

Well exactly this is happening with the new team now

once you get alot of reports the devs will look up your dbd profile, and for sure you will be banned, this is the most common banned, getting too much reports.
