I need to know WHAT TYPE of guns!


as in assualt rifle, sub machine guns, machine guns, snipers? etc.

scar-l and m16 are both assault rifles. you need GUNS_M_PV_AR.rez, AR is for assualt rifle

if you have backups simply copy the backup and paste in your CA folder.

download part 2, find GUNS_M_PV_AR.rez and put it in your CA folder.

How did you do to inject some mods (They want DDL files but there are LTB or REZ files...)

you dont use hack injectors such as perx or valkyrie. you use a program specialized for injecting LTBS and DTX into a .rez file.

you can download REZinject at the bottum of this tutorial:

the rez injector works alot like perx and such, at the top, select the original .rez file that youe xtracted.

and then add the edited LTBS or DTXs, inject, and the product will be a file named "rezfilenamehere.rezNEW" which will be in teh same location as the rez file you choose to add the ltbs and dtxs into.

so did I need to uninstall the game then re-install?

still isn't working? did you use a backup or did you download it? if you used your own backup and it didnt help your backup might be corrupt. if you downloaded it then i can't think of what would cause that. unless you editing the .rez before injecting it.

almost certainly. but i'd try a backup one more time just to save you some time.


i have never had a problem with CA (other then server sided problems like lag of course) that i couldn't fix with reinstall.
