Maybe the path to your osu!.exe contains non-English characters? If so, try to install osu! in a different path with ONLY English characters and try again.
I'm not gonna fix the language issue in the near future, so try the solution I've given above if you wanna get it to work.

If it just occurs sometimes, most probably lag problem. If not, try to play with the settings SLIDER_DURATION_OFFSET and CLICK_OFFSET
