Please Help with my file

so basically i tried doing the cloud extractor cheat with all the right tools but that was not the problem, i always get a a error saying the game cannot read my save file and 2 people told me my save file is corrupted but i dont want to start over because i have people on my friends list that would know something is up.
I used a save file editor in the past and it was fine but in the past it used the method where you had to unpack your save file first but i dont know if thats the reason why i cant use the cloud extract can someone please help and tell me if so if that could be the reason and tell me how to repack my save file

There's one more reason your save file may be corrupted; you are using Greenluma or **********. Also, there's no way you can restore your savefile. You should contact DbD support. But, of course, they can ban you if you're too suspicious.

i used to use greenluma but i stopped is there anything that may still be left in my dbd that can cause my save file to be corrupted

I guess, you must reinstall steam and all greenluma files will be erased. Also, I think, your savefile can't be corrupted for another reasons. It's stored on servers.

i re installed steam and did the cloud extractor method and it still came up with an error can someone please tell me how i can either use a 2017 old backup or get a new save file without getting banned

DON'T EVER CONTACT SUPPORT. Just inject empty save file and you will be fine.

No inject empty save file play 5 matches on several characters then start modding again. You bugged the save file somehow

ok so listen i dont want to get banned or anything but how do i get a new save file because i heard when someone got their save file corrupted and they just wanted a new one they got banned (also i have a backup from 2017 can i just replace the file )

use the cloud extractor to inject your 2017 save file into cloud, make sure you are using bypass. Although it may not be safe because 2017 save files is way different than 2018 save files, or go HERE there is a brand new save.

im so confused so what u are saying is i can do it but if i do it i will be banned

Also one more thing i had legacy on my characters if i put the same amount of legacy's i had will it look fishy and i dont know when i got them exactly does it matter ?

in that case just modify the dates to the original release of legacy as shown HERE I modified my save file added legacy and everything still no ban its been 3 weeks so far.

also do you know of any way i can copy over all the items, perks of my survivors onto this empty cloud save file

Those legacy dates are only legit for Nea and Nurse. The dates for legacy on the other characters look like this: "0001-01-01T00:00:00Z"

Null if i wanted to have one legacy piece and the other regular prestige how do i do that in the cloud editor since if i press legacy it makes legacy prestige 2

so i used a empty save file and then just copied over all the items and perks i had on my previous save file and i ended up with the same error Someone help

Your best bet is cloud editor
