SRSZGood CPU for streaming?

Good CPU for streaming?
My current budget is $300, but can also add another $100 if the CPU is actually worth it, I'm looking for a CPU that is good for streaming, I'm looking to stream at a 720p resolution so I don't need anything over the top, looking for a nice i7.

Since you mentioned intel I'm assuming you have an intel board, so I'd go with i7 8700k if i was you.

Edit: It'll cost around 300-400 dollars but you'll prob be able to stream at 1920x1080. My ryzen is significantly worse than the 8700k yet I'm able to stream perfectly fine at 1920x1080 with high bitrate, I'll have to go check my OBS settings but with a 8700k you'll probably be surprised at how well it performs for the price.

i7-8700K is the best option but the i7-7700K perfect too.

Honestly would rather choose the 8700k because it will probably last long anyways.

Exactly but the i7-7700K cheaper. If you can afford to buy the 8th generation processor. Also if you have a potato computer with a GTX 660, you have to upgrade that too.
