Sup guys,
I used my friends PayPal account like 4 months back for a $550 transaction regarding a rotmg account. However, the buyer chargebacked and I think I now lost the case?
The buyer reported that this transaction couldn't be recognized and required more details. Until this case is closed, we've also placed a hold on the transaction amount.
After reviewing the info we received, we were unable to cover the payment in this case. However, we might be able to recover this from the buyer's financial institution.
Once we file a case on your behalf with the buyer's financial institution, it could take up to 75 days to get a resolution. If we're able to recover the payment of $566.25, we'll refund the money to your PayPal balance.
The PayPal account has real name/bank/card linked but fake address. Should I be worried about PayPal charging the card/bank? And I can probably tell my friend to ignore the collection agencies right?
