Can't Remove EAC Bypass
Hello everybody, I've decided to quit cheating on dbd once and for all but I can't seem to uninstall my 2.0.0+ EAC bypass. I've reinstalled the game 3 times, removed certain files from my dbd folder, reinstall EAC from the dbd folder and deleted all the inbound dbd rules in the firewall. Nothing seems to work, I always get the same message when I try to load in: "EAC client cannot be instantiated." If someone has a solution I would love it if you told me ASAP. Cheers!
So you're deleting your deadbydaylight.exe and your binaries folder, but verifying DBD files within Steam isn't repairing it?

Yup, not working. Still the same message when I try to load into the game.

Did you accidentally block its process in your firewall and forget ?

I went into my firewall and deleted all of dbd's inbound rules there. What do you mean I blocked it's process and forgot?

I was just asking in case you did and somehow forgot.

Here's what you do:

-Uninstall the game completely.
-Remove the EAC bypass from the hosts file in System32/drivers/etc. (Even though I'm pretty sure this is patched ?)
-Delete the EAC folder in AppData.
-Reinstall the game and try again.

If that fails, something's blocking EAC from launching properly. Perhaps your antivirus or maybe you have to start EAC's service manually through Services.msc ?
Just delete the game and install it again if you cannot manage it
After reinstalling the game go to %appdata% and delete eac folder, go to %localappdata% and delete dead by daylight folder (config file)... If you say that firewall isn't blocked, maybe you used the old bypass, if so the problem is from the host file.... Delete it and try again

The host file is important to do... Btw if you uninstall the game from steam instead of deleting it from the folder the eac will remain stored. Delete the folder of the game
ReInstall EAC again, it worked for me last time

Read the post a bit more carefully, I've already done that.
just uninstall dead by daylight and install again.

I am sorry if I need to tell you that, but if you remove all game files and reinstall them via no other programs and you install it with steam that means you have a problem with your Personal Computer, EAC Bypass it's gone from first reinstall. You can try installing some esential programs for Dead By Daylight, or try reinstalling EAC as well, searching for hidden files or smth. If you decided to quit cheating and you reset your progress too, you can contact Dead By Daylight support team to help you if you can't solve the problem with us.
Try running easy anti cheat in services before opening dbd.
