Paypal Charge Back

Hello ,

i am fairly new about dealing with Paypal as a Seller ( i am usually the one paying out ) , are there any tips that the veteran can give a little newbie to avoid getting Pp chargeback?

what i know so far
-Always ask for friends and family
-Ask them to write down they will never chargeback
-Ask them for a screenshot of payment

i heard about stealth paypal and member offering it , does that helps with dealing with chargeback? i was told if the buyer just force a credit card chargeback they will always wins.

Family and friends no longer exists. As of recently, (few months ago) PayPal changed a lot of their policies. This includes new fees, new rules, new limits, etc. It would be wise to look into these changes as PayPal (from what I've seen in the forums here) has slowly been dying. Many sellers/traders are using other forms of payment methods. PayPal now charges ridiculous fees to transfer. As for chargebacks, theres no surefire way to protect yourself. A buyer always has so many different avenues to take to get his money back. If they ever choose to go to a bank and issue a chargeback/reversal. There's nothing you can do. I would suggest using another payment method. Happy trading

The only thing you can do is immediately after getting the funds move them to a safer account, cuz there is absolutely nothing you can do about a dispute

How many accounts should you move it through before you move it to your main account?

EDIT: Make sure the stealths arent linked to the main in ANY way, that way you can ditch the stealth if someone disputes on it and leave it with an negative balance. If the stealth is linked and paypal finds out, they will not only limit ur main, but also take funds from it to pay back for debts on ur stealths

Yes we can do anything with a dispute about digital goods but with real goods its okay no?

Ah. I thought they automatically limited the account that you transferred the money to in the event of a chargeback.

This won't fly unless you linked them with the same forms of payment. They also won't charge your credit card or debit your account to recover the negative balance. Basically, leave only the amount you can afford to lose in your Paypal account. Always sweep out otherwise.

i am not very familiar with a stealth account , i see member offering it here , basically is another account that you use to receive funds and directly transfer the fund to your main paypal right? , wont paypal limit it somehow ? and to use stealth account other than vpn do i need anything else?

There is nothing you can do to completely prevent chargebacks.

yeah...cashout and dump it

Paypal Disputes and Chargebacks will come.

However there are ways to minimize your chargebacks.

If you are selling paypal transfer services, there are 2 ways to send to what give you at least 2 - 3 months before chargeback , if at all.

Maybe I should write an ebook on these.
