How can i make my current profile image a gif?
Ive seen many other uses with a gif as their profile picture so any help would be great

I'd be happy to help you out!
So in order to have an AVATAR or PROFILE PICTURE be a GIF and not a static image you have to make sure:
- the image is exported as a GIF. You can test this by double clicking the GIF and if it opens in your browser and looks how you want it then good.
- the image is less than or equal to your maximum dimensions
- the image is less than or equal to your maximum file size
- the 2 aforementioned requirements can be found on the page where you change your avatar/profile picture. It will list the dimensions and the max file size.
If it meets all of the above then it will be fine. The reason some GIFs are turned to static images is because they do NOT meet the above requirements and what happens is, MPGH will resize it and then it becomes a static image.

i did exactly as you said and im getting no animated images
