I mean shit dude, usually I'd let this pass but for fuck's sake, it says it right there that the client needs to be restarted to be updated. There are also threads complaining of this same issue, the search bar is pretty helpful, try it out.
But since you use hacked clients, you have to either wait for someone to release a client with the new update or you can do it yourself.

How do I save the edited client into .swf? Turns into .tmp for me even after using Save function.
