Visa or Mastercard

opening a new bank account & credit card, not sure what should i go with Visa or Mastercard? what's the difference anyways?
seeing the offers here at my bank they are pretty much the same in terms of annual fee and limits value

please give me your opinion guys

So far i know is that both are practically the same, just 2 different companies. Both are used alot in US since its an american company.
I use Mastercard and its all good, although i wanted Visa but still its both the same.

I have both, literally no difference.. just the numbers and the logo lol.

theres no real difference for you as a user

just pick the one thats cheaper or offers more extras

thank you all, i decided to go with visa because apparently paypal can only withdraw to it in my country

Same shit....

for example in my country you can use only VISA to withdraw money from PayPal, so Mastercard for me on PP is useless

the differences are the incentives.

VISA went down in UK a few weeks ago, Mastercard I'd get.

eating annual fees means the card isn't worth it typically unless you travel extensively. go with the best rewards. fidelity visa, costco visa all offer 2+% cash back. no intl exchange fees is nice if you travel a lot.
