how to fix -rep
Hello

I got -14 rep because i did open a scam report against someone, now i got a lot positive vouches/reps but the rep is still -14!

Is there anyway to fix that issue?

Yes, I've reviewed your reputation history and you have indeed received rep however the members giving you rep don't have any rep power. Rep power is increased by post count (mainly) with a few other factors if I recall correctly so unfortunately until you've received more than 14 rep you won't go positive.

I wonder the same, how this whole rep system is working, search function does not bring up any result on this topic.

(and @ @FloTaxi since he was curious)

No, giving positive reputation to another member doesn't take away reputation from you. You can see what your reputation power is by going to your 'Settings' in the top right of MPGH, scroll down to the reputation history and there should be something that says 'Reputation Power'. That's how much rep you will be able to give/take.

Click on the star, bottom left of every user's postbit to give positive or negative reputation (example screenshot above). 'I approve' = positive, 'I disapprove' = negative.

As Dave said above, say for example if you gave me positive reputation. You wouldn't be able to give me positive reputation again until you've given rep to other members.
thanks a lot for the detailed reply, and whoever gave me some rep. now i am at -3 only

i love this forums, because each other try to help each other
the rep system is a big black box and it isn't transparent

I don't think you lose rep by repping someone else, you just can't rep people for a while
Help others and rest will be done automatically
..and now he's banned for scamming. This is why reputation is meaningless on MPGH.

For any users involved in the Marketplace do not think a user is 'trusted' because of their reputation.
