Ban Info?
Are all bans for using Zombie trainers HWID bans or are they just normal account bans? asking for my friend who doesnt want to waste money on buying a new acc?

I haven't been banned yet so I haven't had the opportunity to test it but it's super simple to change your HWID, a quick Google search will give you a couple results. Have your friend try that out on a new account.
It's most certainly not an IP ban because that would actually be stupid, so the only other thing besides an account ban would be a HWID.

Yes all black ops 4 bans are HWID bans
HWID ban that is not "done" with after you change it. Even with changing HDD and MAC address you're still getting banned. I can not confirm that this is for the sole use of trainers or cheats in general, but it is a ban for using programs to create them and getting caught with it (e.g. Cheat Engine, CrySearch crashes).
BO4 does not ban HWID!

I was banned due "cheating", afther a lengthy chat with their support, they said every ban is given by a Treyarch agent who confirms you've actually cheated or boosted or anything of the sort.

Well I can confirm that they Hardware Ban you. I have received one. You do not necessarily get them for cheating but for creating cheats.

Mm, so creating is HWID ban, but for using the cheats just profile ban...
ahhh, trying to solve the problem from the creators not the cheaters. Interesting approach
They do not give information about bans. You will not be able to know what got you banned. It's strongly prohibited even on their forums. I'm talking from experience now about coding and I am in the same case as several (not just one) other people/coders that have received the exact same punishment. I also know what happens when you invite someone to your lobby who doesn't cheat but you do for him (e.g. Zombie, not Multiplayer). Same goes for just using a cheat for yourself. It's all in their policy.
