Yep it's absolutely insane.

I would recommend like with any gen 1 product to wait a year or 2 for the 2nd or 3rd generation which will get rid of most of the flaws not noticed in testing. Maybe the price will drop too if it doesn't get as many sales as they predict

Screen protector should work for the outside screen, and for the main one but cases will be an interesting one. Would have to have a cut out for the outside screen and be able to bend/move with the phone

I wouldn't be spending 2.000 on a phone that is foldable, I would rather buy a tabled instead for that price, or a PC build that is 1,5k LOL

i think if you have the money for this phone then you wont have to worry about cracking the screen

guess a phone insurance will come handy with this one
