insomnia (sleeplessness)
What's up guys , I just wanted to talk a little bit about insomnia (I hope it's the correct word for it (asked my teacher >>)) So it's like 4 years ago when it first came up to me that I went to bed at 3 or 4 a.m even tho I knew I had to wake up at 6:40 a.m in the morning so I got pretty much less than 3h of sleep and since then I never really managed to get back to my old sleeping schedule. I had several attempts in the past but I couldn't go sleep everyday at like 11 p.m or 12 a.m it's like I start getting tired at 3 a.m and I can't fall asleep anymore before that time.
Furthermore I sleep a lot through the day so ofc I'm not tired in the evening but even tho I don't go sleep at noon I'm still not tired in the evnening, it's like I'm tired all day but exactly at 9 p.m I start getting awake again, what's wrong with my dumbass XD?
Try taking melatonin, if that doesn't work take Indica Weed.

Hopefully it helps
Set an alarm for the time you want to wake up at, and 100% hold to it. Do not sleep in past it, and try to stay awake as well as you can for a full day. As long as you get to sleep at least 2-3 hours before your alarm for a couple days, you will be able to fix your sleep schedule. Say you go to bed really late at 4 AM and set your alarm for 7 AM. For a few days that will be good enough to fix it, but you have to stay committed to getting up at that time. Your body will adjust when you get tired to align with the time you're waking up. Additionally try using the program f.lux when using a computer at night, the Blue light produced by computer monitors and phone screens keeps you near fully awake. Once blue light is cut from the screen output you will notice immediately that you get more tired. In addition, try doing exercise about 2-3 hours before you want to go to bed. Do some cardio, do some pushups, jumping jacks, maybe a few burpees and make sure you tire yourself out. Don't do this right before you go to bed though, as the adrenaline will keep you up.
Did you try fapping it up? It makes you more tired and releases stress, making you fall asleep faster.
Even if you don't feel tired, force yourself into bed at 2am, the next night shift it to 1am, then midnight, and so on till you get to the sleep time you want. If you're sleeping 3 hrs in the morning then 5 in the day, but you want to sleep 8 hrs in one go just get the mindset that you're not losing time by going to sleep early. Simply your available time is shifted around.

Also thanks for this detailed post !
The same thing happened to me before. My doctor prescribed Sleepwell, its a melatonin medication that helps you, well, sleep well.

You just have to take it 2 hours before your desired bed time. If you wish to sleep by 10 pm, take it at 8 pm.

You can take it for a few days/weeks/months until your body clock is back to normal. But hey, its your body.
Yeah, your best bet is just sleep medication, otherwise I don't know how to help.
Insomnia Is very dangerous and the effects will show up when you get older(gussing you are below 25) , I might be able to help you out but first is it a medical reason ( diabetes or menopause )
if not then you can add me on Im and i'll help out

Thanks for this offer! I recently purchased a whiteboard to remind some things, like goin sleep earlier and so on.
I actually tried what
@Danny said and I'm already at 1:00 AM to 1:30 AM , getting close to the 12 AM border which I want to reach before the new month starts! Also I do a lot like bicycling so I'm pretty much tired already at 1 AM what is great!
Usually I just try to stretch or walk around. Sometimes it helps out
Yeah, definitely find out first if it's physiological, insomnia can be caused by multiple things, including hypothyroid/hyperthyroidism.
