Your problem may well be that you're doing it by hand. There are many bots for this sort of thing now, and people definitely actively use them.
So I've started grabbing nike new release drops and even though I have servers/sock5 close and autofill/paypal, some drops I miss out on.
For instance, I was able to get multiple pairs of kyrie 5 spongebob but not the jordan 1 low sb.
Is my problem that I'm doing it by hand or a luck thing? Who offers help with these sort of things? What experiences do you guys have with this?

If you're talking about entering the nike snkrs draw for a chance to purchase a shoe, it's heavily rigged. There are people who have hundreds and thousands of nike accounts and they all enter the drawing so they have higher chances of winning
Even with real good bots for hype releases you still take an L
If you are doing by hand with only one account then yes you are 90% sure that most releases you wont get nothing but there are chances that you might get lucky

Any worthwhile shoes are released via a DRAW. It's not a first come first serve line system....and Yes, there are bots that help you enter hundreds and thousands of accounts within the 10 minutes. It's a game of chance, but you have a higher chance of winning a draw when you have multiple entries.

@sciflee What bot is that?
The bot is called Ghost AIO. However, it's sold out and they rarely restock. Nowadays the "good" bots are very limited and costs anywhere between $200 to $1000+. If you are seriously considering botting for shoe releases, you have to pay a good amount on a monthly basis. These are some of the thing you have to consider. 1) A decent bot ~about $300 on the lower end. One time payment. 2) Fast residential proxies that aren't blocked by Nike. ~about $2 each proxy. Need about 100 proxies to have a decent chance. They last only a month. So $200 per month. 3) VPS/Dedicated server with good CPU and fast internet. Anywhere between $50-$200 per month. 4) Buying Nike accounts. People sell phone number verified Nike SNKR accounts for about $2-3 each. Need 100 of those so that's $200-$300. One time payment. However, there are cases where Nike will blacklist an account so you would have to re-buy them. You're looking at about almost $1000 just to START botting, and then about $300 monthly for proxy and server costs after.
If you're lucky, you'll manage to get multiple pairs and pay off your proxy and server costs and make a profit. If you're unlucky, meaning if the bot didn't work (yes, sometimes it fails because Nike updated their site or if your proxies don't work at the last minute) or if you didn't win the draw, you will lose money. There's a lot of work that you have to put in and it's not that easy as you may think. I was using bots 4 years ago when it was much easier and not many people were involved. I stopped buying shoes all together last year because too many people started botting and it got much harder to purchase shoes. Here's a picture of the remaining shoes I have left lol....

@sciflee I have no problems with hosting and there seems to be a draws and drops every month to pay it off.
I'm working on a personal collection but I don't have nearly enough to fill a walk in closet lol that would be so annoying.
