Well yeah, you just need 60 dollars on paypal and a fake cc linked on your paypal or your own real bank account (suggest not do the refund method multiple times).
1. Buy COD MW with paypal from battle.net
2. Refund the next day through paypal (might take a week)
3. The game still stays on your battle.net account. Even if banned or not banned. Playable.

4.U just need a new confirmed paypal everytime, people sell confirmed paypal accs - beware of scammers.

5.Now u can sell these battle.net accounts with cod mw on them for around 30 dollars.

Digital copies of a game will never run out. Especially when bought through a platform like battle.net

I bet there are more methods of doing this, even nastier than this one, but hey it's your own responsibility whether your doings will have repercussions.

When Blizzard, or any of these companies selling digital products caught on to this practice by mid 2010s they just remove the digital product from your account or ban your account outright and this method "died". Or are you describing something different?

Oh no buddy, refundscamming or chargeback fraud has never died. It's still doable.

Also, so far, my 2nd account is not banned/removed from battle.net after refund. I got my refund of from my first acc and my 2nd acc 59.99, so it's a free game.
