SolvedGrimoire 3.8 connection problem

When I click to join a server, it switches to "Connecting to game server..." but just gets stuck there in the sense that the application doesn't freeze, the loading animation runs and the cancel button shows up but it just doesn't go beyond Connecting to game server.

When I use the aqw through the official website, everything works fine.
