❓ Helping starting up a pserver
Edit: Changed question

I'm trying to run Travs domain. I managed to get the server running but I can't seem to compile the client. I have an updated FLEX and FlashDevelop, but I'm getting lots of errors when compiling. Does anyone know what SDK am I supposed to use? I have Flex 4.6.0, AIR 3.1

Errors that occur:
Access of undefined property INCLUDE_BASES, INCLUDE_INTERFACES....
undefined property JSON
NetworkInterface, NetworkInfo could not be found

Any help appreciated.
Thanks

Edit: I tried multiple other SDKs: 3.6A, 4.0A, 4.1A, 4.5A. Some gave different errors but none actually worked

I dont think it was built using FlashDevelop so it may have different build settings and whatnot, try IntelliJ (Ik IntelliJ sucks because it costs money but you can just keep redownloading the trial lol)
(4.6 should work for that build client btw, otherwise I would suggest its the Flex SDK, because for 123.5.1 build clients that is what I use as well)

That fixed the issue! I was left with a few errors such as right click event listener and imports of NetworkInfo that couldn't be found, but they weren't actually used so I think commenting it out did no harm. Now after I compile I get a 3 mb swf file (I thought it's more like 7 mb, surprised it's so small) but when I open it nothing happens. Tried dragging it into a flash projector and it just closes itself lol
If I run from within the project itself, it'll open an html file that does nothing. Got any idea why this happens?

If it matters, the wserver is running and the server is running too although it says "Listening at port 8080" and idk if that's cuz he is waiting for connections as in players or is there a db or something I didn't run

Edit: After I compile, in the output folder there's lots of stuff besides the client.swf. There's folders similar to the names inside /src, Client.html, playerProductInstall.swf, swfobject.js and some folders that are also inside /src. I don't know what is the difference. Maybe the settings in the compilation aren't correct? It is outputting a swf file so I don't know what could be the issue.

Never experienced any of that stuff, all I would suggest is downloading a fresh copy of the source, and looking for one of the client setup tutorials in the tutorial section (should be a thread called like "How to use IntelliJ" or something like that) so you can see if you possibly missed any steps.

When all done correctly, client should build and automatically open the built .SWF file, and the built .SWF file should also be placed in a folder named out or a folder named bin, like you said already but how it was missing which I have no clue why, try not commenting out those errors you got, and seeing if a different SDK

(maybe 4.9.1, thats the SDK that is used for Deca client so I dont know tbh, not sure if that SDK was even around when this client you are using was released lol but the right_click errors are also a thing in the Deca client and using 4.9.1 is what fixes it so maybe it was, not sure tbh lol)

Yup, the issue was with the SDK. I got SDK 4.9.1 and that fixed the issue (fixed RIGHT_CLICK too). Thanks for the help!
