i dont know if steam or whatever is that smart to check your barracks but i should not take a risk.
when i use a rankhack, i use one which includes a ''change gametime'' option.
i set 3 days per prestige so 30 days for prestige 10

OT: If anyone's thinking of using the ZeroGear hack (if it still works). I wouldn't. Why? 'Cus I did. And I wasn't smart enough to notice that all Steam accounts in your possession will get banned not only the alternate one (it's suggested to create a new one) though, once banned form ZG MW2 hack, it won't help as you'll loose your original account too.
