i know an alternative way . but i dont have the right things to do it.. soooo ill tell you.
google not windows 7 or w/e you been googling. but google the ISO for it. once you get the ISO burn it to a CD compatible for software
once youve burned the iso onto the disc
take it out
and put it back in and the windows 7 installation will pop up and simply follow the steps
i hooked up windows 7 on my dads comp in washington like that

to be safe google "how to get windows 7 free " and look for a youtube vid on that ISO method. i learnt it from youtube. but i MAY have left out a detail or two. i was just going off of memery so just to be safe
