Funny, just today I was looking in a General thread and saw that minion, Kate, was banned. I'm like crazy. Staff banned??? Oh it was abuse of power 1 year ban.

Are you suggesting that the 1 year ban was overly aggressive or necessary? Not too sure what happened with that incident.

A year sounds like a long time. If youre banned for a year, doubt you're coming back. That being said the charge was also pretty egregious. Look up Kate and go to like most recent posts, youll find the thread.

I looked Kate up and read all the messages Flengo, Simple, Sheep Brain/Matthew and Kate wrote and wtf man, Kate fucked up hard.
I found it particularly amusing how they wrote about their persona being different outside MPGH, like, wtf, you're a racist. fuck off.

Yeah. I also disagree with the notion that what you do outside of MPGH is completely disconnected from MPGH. As a staff member you're essentially a representative at all times.

Kate did screw up big time. Title went to her head I guess, and she was pretty new.

Tho being a staff on MPGH doesn't always correlate to your outside behavior and shouldn't be held up to us like that. When I was staff I was half acting like a child and also acting like a mature adult. Context always matters, if it were a serious topic/discussion I assumed maturity if we were kicking it with each other off of MPGH then I acted childish

Also worth noting that the RotMG section has had the highest staff turnover/abuse of power. Kate was not the only one to abuse her power and be punished for it
