Apple Orders

For those of you that have ordered iPhones directly from Apple, does it matter if I used my real information to submit the order (name, cell #, and address)?

I used guest checkout and my Apple ID was never linked to the order. My only concern is that my personal information is the same as my Apple ID. I'm not sure if this will complicate things.

It won't make any difference to refund.

I read in a previous thread that somebody had linked their Apple ID to the order and also signed into their refunded iPhone using that same Apple ID. This notified Apple that the iPhone was received.

My concern is if I use my current Apple ID with the refunded iPhone, will it prompt the same notification because the personal information for the order and the Apple ID are the same. Keep in mind that my Apple ID was never associated with the order itself.

If anybody can clear this up, it would be appreciated!
