Cant find game

When i try to join game it just keeps searching for like 30 mins.. NEVER FINDS GAME.. whats wrong? please help.

I really don't know. Keeps happening to me as well. But the way I fix it is by simply exiting MW2 and coming back. Works every time!

It often happens to me too but only for team deathmatch. everything else works fine

Yeah I tried it on TDM, and FFA, but both don't work whenever it does this.

Are you running any hacks? One of the consoles I was using was disabling my net or something and I could never find a game with it up. Then I closed it down and instant game find.

guys its been known for a while that MW2 is using a matchmaking system now...if you are getting crazy kill:death ratios in games you will get put with others like that (hackers). It will take forever to find a game bc thats what the game is looking for, other hackers. You will notice this when you actually find a game it will be full of hackers. Dont know 100% if this is your issue...if it is just reset your stats back to Level 1.

If you have a monster KDR you will play with monster KDR's ( Mostly Hackers )

If you have been flagged by VAC/IW for a delayed ban on next update, You will only be able to play with people in the same status.

Solution : Trainer to lower your KDR,
Solution 2 : Delete config_mp.cfg, And do a check for missing files with a friend's non-flagged account.
PS : Solution 2 won't save your ass from a delayed ban, But at least you will be able to play until your ban =P

Solution 3 : Don't get detected / don't get hacked monster stats you morons.

That is a possibility, But the config_mp.cfg trick has been known to work for nao,
And nothing proves you are flagged per VAC, Pheraps just by IW, witch are two different things.

just an FYI: your solution1 doesnt work, at least not for me. It goes by how many kills versus deaths your getting in actual matches.

If you set your deaths too be 2x your kills, and you go on a rampage in a couple of matches, you will get put with the hackers.

Don't do such, But set your ratio to 1.0-1.5, And you will find games,
Anyways IW Flagging is easy to kill, Just get sure to do not get flagged by VAC

Ill give that a shot next time Im flagged, which is all the time...i just cant stand playing conservative in a game where your hacking, ya know?
