I understand Gir is awesome, and I know some really awesome emo people. That's probably why I understand that Emos luvs sum Gir. Stereotypically, Emos are dark and depressed and cut themselves, but not all Emos are like that. I believe that Gir is popular in Emo... er... society, but he and Invader Zim are not necessarily idolized. Personally, I don't consider myself to be Emo, and I still love Gir. I believe he is popular in my community as well.
